Called to religious life by the Trinity, The Daughters of the Heart of Mary (DHM) continue the mission of the Son. Our consecrated lives are mission, as the whole life of Jesus was mission.
Each DHM is called to the joy and responsibility of being a witness to the Risen Christ and to the liberating power of his Gospel in an often chaotic and troubled world. We are open to and wholly available to the needs of the times and the places in which we serve God’s people, responding to them according to our gifts and abilities.
We are called to take care to protect life and promote integral human development, thus committed to contributing to the changing of mentalities and attitudes to build with others a more just and humane world in which the dignity and rights of all are respected.
We recognize Creation as a gift from God. Faced with its global deterioration, we are called to live an ecological conversion to safeguard it and not transform it into an object of consumption and domination.
